It was a cold and dreary autumn afternoon <br />The announcement called 'bus # 36' <br />All the children boarded the bus <br />As they took their seats <br />They tried to keep their distance <br />From the frightful sight of the driver <br /> <br />Her hair was stringy and orange <br />And she had missing and yellowed teeth <br />Her eyes glowed green and sinister <br />She started to sing <br />'Samantha smells, Billy lies, <br />I'm going to poke out all your eyes' <br /> <br />Little Susie got off the bus <br />But she accidentally bumped into <br />'THE EVIL BUS DRIVER' <br />She held Susie captive <br />And her little legs trembled in fear <br /> <br />Now it was only little susie <br />And 'THE EVIL BUS DRIVER' <br />She stopped once more <br />And opened the door <br />But Susie accidentally bumped her again <br />The driver grabbed her with force <br />And held onto her tightly <br /> <br />She looked at Susie with those sinister green eyes <br />And said, 'DO NOT BUMP ME EVER AGAIN' <br />Then she opened the door and Susie ran out <br />Relieved that she was away from 'THE EVIL BUS DRIVER' <br />She did not realize where she was <br />Till she looked around and saw <br />That now the sky was painted black <br />And a scary bat flew over the moon <br />She could swear she saw a witch on a broom <br />All was so quiet, only the rustling of dead leaves could be heard <br />That's when she saw it, the big old house <br />With chipped paint and broken shutters <br />Shattered glass door and boarded up windows <br />Her little heart pounded fiercely as she took it all in <br />She approached the rickety front steps <br />And she shouted out, Hello, , , , is anybody there? ......... <br /> <br /> <br />To be continued............. <br /> <br />{From my daughters imaginative dreams}<br /><br />Lillian Jamison<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-revenge-of-the-evil-bus-driver/
